Cooperstown Itinerary
Thursday, June 16th
● Arrive at Daytona Beach International Airport by 5:30am
● Delta Flight #2643 departs at 7am
● Layover in Atlanta from 8:22am-9:58am DO NOT LET BOYS RUN AROUND IN AIRPORT – Remind them they represent Spikes!
● Start boarding Delta #2928 approx. 9:28am
● Arrive in Albany, NY at 12:14pm
● You are all on your own to get your baggage, pick up your rental vehicle or catch a ride to meet your other family members. You may choose to grab a bite to eat, as we have a 1.5-hour drive to Cooperstown from Albany International Airport.
● We will meet at Cooley’s Stone House Tavern – 49 Pioneer Street, Cooperstown, NY 13326 for our traditional team dinner from 3-5pm (Spikes pays for players and coaches to eat)
● After dinner, Coaches/Admin check in team with binder
● Players will take their individual and team photos
Friday, June 17th
● 6am-8:30am Breakfast
● 8:45am-9:15am Fire Drill & Team Opening Ceremony Line Up
● 9:30am Opening Ceremony/Skills Competitions
(Parents start getting there by 8am to hold seats)

● 12pm-3:30pm Lunch
● 4pm, 6pm, 8pm Game Times
● 4:30pm-9pm Dinner
Saturday & Sunday, June 18th & 19th
● 6:30am-9:30am Breakfast
● 2 games per day, 9am, 11:30am, 2pm, 4:30pm & 7pm (be prepared for rain delays)
○ Championship Tournament Seedings are posted approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the last game of the day
● 11am-2:30pm Lunch
● 5pm-8:30pm Dinner
Monday, June 20th
● 6:30am-9:30am Breakfast
● 9am, 11:30am, 2pm, 4:30pm & 7pm *These are single elimination games
● 11am-2:30pm Lunch
● 5pm-8:30pm Dinner
*If your boys want to come stay with you, they can but you must have signed form.
Tuesday, June 21st
● 6:30am-9:30am Breakfast
● 9am – Sweet Sixteen
● 12pm – Elite Eight
● 3pm – Final Four
● 11am-2:30pm Lunch
● 4pm-5:30pm Dinner
● 5:45pm Team Line Up
● 6pm Closing Ceremony (Full uniform - they get their rings at this time)
● 9pm Fireworks
● 9:15pm Championship Game
Wednesday, June 22nd
● Arrive at Albany Airport by 11:25 am
● Delta Flight #2928 departs at 1:14 pm
● Layover in Atlanta from 3:44 pm-4:37 am
● Start boarding Delta #2710 approx. 4:07 pm
● Arrive at Daytona International Airport at 6:01 pm
Barracks
Each player has a bunk and a footlocker that locks and fits a large duffle.
There is no Wi-Fi but players can have their cellphones in the barracks
Some kids bring hooks to put on bunk to hold towels/hats (highly recommended)
Bungee cords are great too!
The players are supposed to keep the barracks clean and cleaning supplies should be provided by CDP
Large Ziploc Packing bags are an easy way to get organized.
Each team has a barrack with bunk beds
The bathroom and showers are separate from the barracks. The players wear swimsuits to shower.
Adults do not shower in the players showers
Have a discussion about personal care.
Keeping the barracks clean is a shared responsibility!
